Day 2 of the itinerary is scheduled for sightseeing amidst the natural beauty of Pachmarhi. Proceed for local sightseeing. Start with blessings of the Jata Shankar temple. Here you will come across something unique as there are two different types of little pond, one of cold water and the other one of hot water. Next, pay a visit to Handi Khoh (Deep Valley). This is known as a huge ravine with thick woodland and a cliff of 300 feet which is also associated with Lord Shiva. Proceed to pay a visit to Priyadarshini Point (Forsyth Point), a popular view point offering stunning views of the surroundings. Next, pay obeisance to Bada Mahadev temple, Gupt Mahadev temple, and more. Halt for lunch. Next, explore Pachmarhi Lake and Rajendragiri. Named after Indian President Dr. Rajendra Prasad, this viewpoint offers charming views of the panorama of Pachmarhi, especially at sunset.
Later, in the evening explore the local markets. Get your hands on some wonderful tribal handicrafts, speciality of the local Gond and Bastar tribes. Do not forget to try local cuisine dishes and savor their lip-smacking flavor.
Later in the evening return to your hotel. Overnight in Pachmarhi.
